Due to their chemical and mechanical features, stainless steel sheets nowadays can be found in a wide variety of applications. Stainless steel sheets in AISI 304 (W.Nr.1.4301) and AISI 304L (W.Nr. 1.4306) qualities are most often used in food and drinks industry, dairy industry, brewing and wine-making ..., then also in pharmacology and cosmetic industry, in civil engineering and architecture, for household appliances, surgical instruments, sanitary equipment, etc.

Due to addition of molybdenum (Mo), the steels in AISI 316 (W.Nr.1.4401) and AISI 316L (W.Nr.1.4404) quality are even more corrosion resistant compared to the group of AISI 304 materials, so they are used in chemical and pharmaceutical industries, cellulose and paper industry, film and photo industry, in manufacturing of surgical and medical instruments, etc. Besides Mo, stainless steel sheets in AISI 316 Ti (W.Nr.1.4571) quality have also titanium (Ti) added, so they demonstrate even higher acid resistance. However, due to titanium addition, it is harder to achieve high polish. They are used in textile industry, artificial materials production, fertilisers production, etc.

The fire resistant stainless steel sheets in AISI 309S (W.Nr.1.4833) and AISI 310S (W.Nr.1.4845) quality are resistant to working temperatures of up to 1100°C and are therefore used for making of furnace components, fire-boxes, grids, etc.

All of the above listed stainless steel sheets belong to the group of austenitic steels. We are able to offer you also ferrite steels in AISI 430 (W.Nr.1.4016) quality. This type of steel has no nickel (Ni) in its composition (X6Cr17). It is therefore magnetic and distinctly cheaper than the above listed materials, and it still suitable for a wide variety of applications in civil engineering, architecture, automobile industry, household appliances and catering equipment production, etc.
